Paris (SID) – The new coach Mauricio Pochettino will have to do without his superstar Neymar on his home debut with Paris St. Germain on Saturday (9 p.m. / DAZN) against Stade Brest. The Brazilian has still not recovered from his ankle injury, said Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel’s successor at French soccer champions, on Friday.
The Argentine coach only scored 1-1 on his debut on Wednesday against record champions AS St. Etienne. PSG are currently in second place, three points behind leaders Olympique Lyon. Neymar is sorely missed, “he will give us more ideas and creativity on the pitch,” said Pochettino of the 28-year-old star striker.
