PO Rosalia Indah Apologizes for Inappropriate Response to Bus Theft Incident

PO Rosalia Indah apologized for their customer service response which was deemed inappropriate when receiving reports of cases of theft of goods on the bus. PO Rosalia Indah management is currently conducting an investigation regarding the case of theft of passenger goods on their bus.

Dino experienced theft of electronic goods on the PO Rosalia Indah bus. Through X’s social media account with the account name @Widino, Dino said that someone had stolen his iPad when he was traveling using PO Rosalia Indah on the Wonosobo-Ciputat route.

In his narrative, Dino said that he always carried his bag wherever he went. He also made sure that his iPad was still there when the bus stopped at the rest area in Kedung Roso. While on the bus, Dino put the bag in the top trunk and he kept an eye on the bag throughout the journey. But the thief targeted the moment when Dino was off guard.

Dino’s suspicions arose when he got off at the PO Rosalia Indah Ciputat pool. He suspected that the bag could not be opened, because the zipper was glued. And when he arrived at his house, Dino was surprised because the contents of his bag were replaced with Yellow Pages information books and ceramics. Meanwhile, the iPad, pencil and keyboard package, including the charger, were all missing.

Dino tried to report the incident to the PO Rosalia Indah contact center. However, he admitted that he did not get the response he expected. PO Rosalia Indah’s contact center answered that lost items on the bus were not PO Rosalia Indah’s responsibility.

Responding to the complaint, PO Rosalia Indah apologized because the customer service response was deemed inappropriate. On the other hand, PO Rosalia Indah will also carry out an investigation regarding this theft case.

“Of course the leadership in our service department has conveyed directly to customers an apology for the response from our contact center officers which was deemed inappropriate at that time,” said the Director of PT Rosalia Indah Transport FX. Adimas Rosdian Bbuscom, to detikOto, Wednesday (20/12/2023).

Dimas also emphasized that he would summon the crew on the bus concerned to carry out an investigation and investigation.

“Currently we have scheduled them (the crew on the bus concerned) to call the center to take part in the investigation process. What is clear is that Rosalia Indah does not confirm that there was an act of theft in our fleet,” said Dimas.
