Regional Secretary of Humbang Hasundutan Regency (Public Relations), North Sumatra, Tonny Sihombing, said his party had imposed sanctions on civil servant the viral one dancing while drinking alcohol. He said the civil servant was given a warning sanction.
“We have given a warning to the related OPD,” said Tony in a written statement received by detikcom, Saturday (15/1/2022).
Tonny said the sanctions were still given even though there was no alcohol party at the time of the incident. Tony hoped this would not happen again.
“We hope to the OPD concerned or in the OPD environment of the Humbahas Regency Government that there are no videos or acts of state servants that damage the image of ASN,” he said.
Reason Only Sanction Warning
Tony Sihombing gave an excuse to only sanction civil servant the woman. He said no civil servants drank alcohol in the video.
“We together with top officials of the Humbahas Regency Government have clarified the OPD in question. In that clarification, in the viral video there was no alcohol party. Only spontaneous entertainment demonstrating dancers staggering under the influence of alcohol,” he said.
