Singer P!NK is sad and “disappointed in the media”. The 43-year-old American artist regrets that the media pays little attention to her new music and focuses on her statements about colleagues such as Christina Aguilera.
“Of course the responsibility also lies a bit with me. I cannot lie and I am often too loose-lipped. But the fact is that with female artists it can never be about the music,” the singer writes Instagram.
“I made a beautiful album with others. And all they ask about is a stupid fight I had years ago.”
P!NK refers to a quarrel with singer Christina Aguilera. P!NK recently told a radio program that she was more than twenty years ago at the recordings for the video clip of Lady Marmalade almost fought Aguilera. To the dismay of the artist, many other media went into this in interviews.
“For every one or two women I’ve had problems with, there are hundreds I’ve complimented and supported. But we don’t talk about that.”
According to the singer, the quarrel has now been settled. “You know better”, P!NK addresses Aguilera.
