PM Modi Congratulates Indian Team on Historic Win Against Pakistan in World Cup

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian team for their historic win against Pakistan in the World Cup. Modi X noted that the victory won by Team India in Ahmedabad was great and it was an all-round performance. Along with appreciation, the Prime Minister also wished for the upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, India won their eighth win against Pakistan in the World Cup today. Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 191 runs. Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored a half century. Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj took two wickets each for India.

In reply, India reached the target with the loss of three wickets in 30.3 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was the star of the game who gave a good bowling performance. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries for India. With the win, India topped the points table. India’s next match is against Bangladesh on Thursday.
