Marburg-Biedenkopf – The district of Marburg-Biedenkopf is expanding its activities in social media with channels on “Telegram” and “Instagram”. The official start of the “Telegram” broadcast is January 1, 2021. The “Instagram” channel will follow in the course of the year.
With the offer of a Telegram broadcast, the district can send relevant information directly to the smartphones of the registered users. With this, the district would like to create another opportunity to provide interested parties with relevant, up-to-date and secure information quickly and easily. It will officially start on January 1, 2021. A test phase is already running in which processes and functionalities are being tried out. Registrations are already possible now. Information on this can be found on www.marburg-biedenkopf.de under the keyword “Telegram”. It is planned to send comprehensive information via the messenger service as well as to use this service for brief information and thus to draw attention to further information offers on the district’s website. It is also possible to send picture and video messages or voice files.
In addition, an appearance on the social media platform “Instagram” is planned for 2021. Above all, a younger target group can be reached through this and the existing and established offer on “Facebook” can be meaningfully supplemented. Since predominantly younger people use “Instagram”, the district hopes not only to provide information to this population group but also to create synergies in the area of personnel development, as this channel will reach a relevant target group, for example for apprenticeships in the district administration. Via “Instagram” the district can provide information about the diverse and interesting tasks of the district administration and draw attention to the various training offers.
