Committed for several years to adapting housing to the aging population, the social landlord Plurial Novilia (subsidiary of the Action Logement group) announces the delivery of an intergenerational residence in Mourmelon-le-Grand (51), comprising 14 housing units intended to seniors and families.
A few weeks after delivering a social complex, including a boarding house and a support structure for victims of domestic violence, for a total of 19 housing units in the center of Reims, the social landlord Plurial Novilia announces the delivery of a “intergenerational” residence in Mourmelon-le-Grand, in the Marne.
In detail, this residence includes 10 single-storey apartments intended for the elderly, and 4 pavilions in R+1 dedicated to families. In terms of comfort, each accommodation is through, and has a terrace opening onto an enclosed private garden, and a parking space (closed garage or carport).
Designed by the Châlons architect firm O. Jamar & Associés, these accommodations adapt to the architecture of the neighboring houses, through a facade in beige hues, flat anthracite tiles, and PVC joinery in a light gray tone.
If the average share of its tenants over 60 years old represents 25% today, Plurial Novilia estimates that it will increase to 37% by 2028.
In this context, the social landlord works on the adaptation of 400 housing units per year, but also on the creation of a new housing offer adapted to seniors, and the implementation of the “Senior+” service offer, aimed at facilitating home care and maintaining regular social ties.
