TIME.CO, Jakarta – Revenue of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN at the end of the third quarter of this year, it was registered at Rp 325.12 trillion. This figure is up by 20.47 percent compared to that recorded in the same period last year, which amounted to Rp. 269.87 trillion.

PLN’s clearing income also increased by 186.54 percent through the end of September 2022 year-on-year to Rp 46.36 trillion, up from Rp 16.18 trillion previously.
Meanwhile, revenue from the government’s electricity subsidy also grew to Rp 42.13 trillion, an increase of 12.71% on a global basis. Year after year (year over year) compared to the same period of the previous year of Rp 37.38 trillion.
PLN also recorded customer connection revenue growth of Rp 606.93 billion from Rp 336.05 billion.
Along with revenue growth, PLN’s operating expenses also increased by 16.68% yoy from Rp 276.95 trillion to Rp 237.36 trillion. The increase in expenses was mainly contributed by the 25.63% increase in fuel and lubricant expenses year-on-year to Rp 108.22 trillion, from the previous Rp 86.14 trillion.
The purchase cost of electricity also recorded an increase of 22.58 per cent year on year to Rp 94.22 trillion, from the previous Rp 76.86 trillion.
