PLN Provides Premium Services For All Customers, What Is It? Page all

KOMPAS.com – PT Company Electricity Country ( PLN) issue a service program premium that can be enjoyed by customers, whether residential, business, or industrial.

Premium service allows people to get supplies electricity quality at rates that compete with regular services.

The services provided by this state-owned company are open to low, medium, and high voltage customers.

“Premium service is a service innovation from PLN to meet special customer needs. This service provides advantages in the form of better reliability of electricity supply,” said Vice President Public Relations of PLN, Arsyadany Ghana Akmalaputri when contacted by Kompas.com, Monday (16/11/2020 ).

Arsya added, premium customers will also get a special Account Executive who will provide services at any time.

The electricity supply that premium customers will get comes from more than one source, so it is claimed that it will not cause blackouts when there is a disturbance on the main line.

This service, Arsya continued, applies to all potential customers of PLN, whether high voltage, medium voltage or low voltage.

“But for low voltage, the minimum power is 1,300 VA for business customers,” he said.

In addition, small customers such as households or small businesses can be provided if there is an area or cluster that wants premium services.

Rate

There are four levels of premium service that the public can enjoy, namely premium Bronze, Silver, Gold dan Platinum.

“Each of them has a different rate,” explained Arsya.

Furthermore, the general billing rates in effect from October to December are as follows:

• Bronze, at a rate of Rp. 1,474 per kWh
• Silver, at a rate of Rp. 1,499 per kWh
• Gold, at a rate of Rp. 1,549 per kWH
• Platinum, at a rate of Rp. 1,574 per kWh

The billing rate will be different for each category, such as household, business or industry.

Arsya ensures that there will be no fees when submitting a service change to premium.

How to register

Premium services can be enjoyed throughout Indonesia. Customers who wish to become premium customers can simply come to the nearest PLN office and register.

After that, a survey will be carried out from the PLN.

“There is no specific fee (for upgrade), but there will be an adjustment to the electricity tariff, “he said.

According to Arsya, 21,364 customers have enjoyed premium services so far.
