PT PLN (Persero) provides special discounts for customers through the ‘Turn on Independence 2023’ promo program. On this occasion customers can get power-up vouchers at a special price of IDR 170,845.
This promo can be obtained after a customer makes a one-time transaction on the PLN Mobile marketplace for a minimum of IDR 78,000. This is one of the features in the PLN Mobile application which provides many products such as electric vehicles, electronic equipment, home appliances, to micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) products such as handicrafts, fashion, and food and beverages.
“With the ‘Turn on Independence 2023’ promo, PLN hopes to be able to meet people’s needs while at the same time encouraging the use of electricity for the long term. Hopefully, with this special service, people can freely use electricity and make maximum use of it,” said PLN Main Director Darmawan Prasodjo in a written statement, Wednesday (2/8/2023).
This power-added promo program applies to customers of all power tariff categories from 450 volt amperes (VA) to 4,400 VA with a maximum final power choice of 5,500 VA. Promo is valid from 1-31 August 2023 in order to celebrate the 78th independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
The ‘Turn on Independence 2023’ promo was presented due to the high enthusiasm of the public for the ‘Turn on Independence 2022’ program. It was recorded that 211,549 customers took part in the power-added promo last year.
Darmawan invited the public to take advantage of this PLN power-added promo. His party said that he would continue to innovate services to meet all the electricity needs of the community which had increased again after the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The process is easy, use the PLN Mobile application. After payment is confirmed, the local PLN service unit will immediately follow up on the process of adding power or temporary connection requested,” explained Darmawan.
Conditions for Getting a PLN Power Add Promo:
1. Customers shop at the PLN Mobile marketplace for a minimum of IDR 78,000 to get an additional power voucher at a special price of IDR 170,845.
2. Customers apply through the PLN Mobile application.
3. Already a PLN customer before August 1, 2023.
4. Customers pay a connection fee promo to increase the power of the ‘Turn on Independence 2023’ service and UJL adjustments in 12 installments with the first installment payment on the following month’s electricity account (for Postpaid services).
5. No need for network expansion, no phase change and no service migration from Prepaid to Postpaid or vice versa.
6. Connection process by PLN to the customer, taking into account the customer’s installation.
7. The service validity period is from 1-31 August 2023 or can be adjusted according to market needs.
8. Every 1 PLN Mobile user is only entitled to get 1 power-up voucher.
