Today, Bulgaria is nowhere. No plan, no direction. All this is topped with a political crisis.
This was stated by the president of Bulgaria from 2012 to 2017, Rosen Plevneliev, to bTV.
On the one hand, “Magnitsky” is geopolitics, because both the US and the UK have every right to punish everyone who does business with the new Hitler’s regime. The message to the people is very heavy – that even the USA cannot do anything to one Delyan Peevski, for example. This is how he commented on the “Magnitsky” list.
“New elections are coming. Let us catch the last train of this change, which the Bulgarian citizens are also waiting for. Let’s make special teams according to the “Magnitsky” list. Let the European prosecutors in our country take action. Let them work with American and British partners. Let the truth be seen, let justice be served”, urged Plevneliev.

He commented on the demands for the impeachment of President Rumen Radev, stating that there is no basis and that “now is not the time”. “This is incorrect, because Radev’s political theses are one thing, the ability of pro-European forces in Bulgaria to do something together, beyond Radev’s clear Russophilism,” said Plevneliev.
He also commented on the president’s words that he would veto Russian nuclear fuel if necessary. “Radev is the new Orban. They both speak the same way. The contact points are the same. Unfortunately, these are also the strongholds of the Kremlin,” the president added.

And he made an appeal to “Continue the Change”, “Democratic Bulgaria” and GERB: “We have a last chance, lead a positive campaign, give a solution, stop the fratricidal war and look for opportunities in these elections to form a government”.
