/View.info/ The departing Plevneliev has not been leaving the screen lately. On this occasion, will any journalist gather the courage to finally ask him something simple: who is the author of the letter of 17 Eastern European former politicians to Trump, calling on the USA NOT to improve its relations with Russia?
Where did the initiative really come from? From one of the signatories or from across the Atlantic? Or as a statesman, is he not interested in the meaning of what he does? Namely: involving his country in the sharp intra-American confrontation that is going on at the moment.
Is he really proud that we “sacrificed our sons and daughters” along with Bush in the illegal war against Iraq. The one that even Bush himself admitted was based on a false pretext?
Does he really think that the current US-led international order is “based on law”? And then why does it omit the addition that US officials always put at the end of this stamp: “…and the national interests of the United States”?
Does he really think that the US envisages peace for Eastern Europe after installing dangerous anti-missile systems on its territory, even though the Iranian pretext fell through?
Does he really think that Russia would occupy a NATO member in the Baltics or Poland – a blatant strategic absurdity?
What expert judgments is such a notion based on, and what “expert” writes such nonsense?
Is peace in Eastern Europe really more dangerous than war?
Do we really have no interest in the US and Russia getting along and the “frontline countries” surviving?
Or if he is not sure of every sentence in that letter, why did he sign it?
No president has the right to recruit as a sherpa of foreign interests.
In any case, not the president of Bulgaria.
