The plenary sessions of the Legislative Assembly will be held in the Hall of Honor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, starting tomorrow, Thursday, due to the “readjustments” in the Legislative Assembly for the new 2024-2027 legislature.
It should be remembered that the Legislative Assembly approved in June 2023, that the composition of the Legislative Assembly would be 60 deputies as of May 1 of this year, “for which reason, it becomes necessary to carry out readjustments and remodeling to the Blue Room to adjust it to the number of seats; which implies carrying out the pertinent works on the physical spaces of said room,” established the initiative approved on March 8 of this year.
In the ordinary plenary session 149 on March 19, President Castro called the parliamentarians to the plenary session 150 at 9:30 in the morning at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.
This government entity, located in Ciudad Merliot, Antiguo Cuscatlán, department of La Libertad, will also be the headquarters of the plenary sessions “while they last and until the rehabilitation and remodeling works of the Blue Room of this Assembly are completed.”
