The producers of the play El Huevo del Gallo, presented to the public last Saturday at the Ideal Theater in Yauco, today expressed their satisfaction with the result obtained.
This is the first staging with an audience to take place in this venue since last year’s earthquakes and the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The public was able, at 30% of the theater’s capacity, thanks to the most recent executive order for the management of the pandemic, signed by Governor Pedro Pierluisi Urrutia.
“It was a magical night, all the available seats were occupied, there are no words, feeling the heat of the audience once again was the closest we have experienced as a possible return to normality,” said the theater director and producer of the piece, Alberto Colón, by press release.
“The audience laughed from beginning to end, and what better way than to resume our work on the stage?”

The work, by Luis Santeiro, highlights the story of a family that experiences an in-vitro pregnancy. Wilfreddy Rodríguez, María Quevedo, Paola Martínez, Julián Gilormini, Luis Torres and Noris Birriel make up the cast under the direction of Edgar García.
