In response to that, the Chief Expert of the Presidential Staff Office Ali Ngabalin asking the public to report if they find the white flag flying as a sign of surrender.
“Please let me know where their addresses are, their wards, and contact numbers that can be contacted,” said Ngabalin in the Trijaya Polemic online discussion, Saturday (24/7/2021).
It is also known that the white flag was flown by some residents of Jalan Sasak, Ampel’s religious tourism area, Surabaya.

Related to this, Ngabalin claims to often communicate with local regional heads for handling the pandemic.
“Where is Ampel, for example, my family there. Where is the white flag flying? Because Surabaya is a metropolitan city. God willing, friends from the RT RW there are very good, implementing the governor’s orders,” he said.
Ngabalin said that later his party would find the best solution for the people who had already given up.
“I ask that it be reported as well in other places in Java and Bali. Because the management carried out by Mr. Minister of Health then Mr. Erick and Mr. Luhut as coordinators, we are now using a very clear and complete leveling scheme, so quickly communicate it.”
