Community party declared that they have passed the re-administration verification as a prospective participant Elections 2024 in East Nusa Tenggara and North Sulawesi. The Ummat Party hopes to advance to the final round so that the next 30 can get a serial number.
Ummat Party spokesman Mustofa Nahrawardaya said there are still stages that need to be passed in order to qualify as a participant in the elections. Currently, her party is following the factual verification.
“KPU RI can start the factual verification today, because the administrative verification to participate in the 2024 election has been declared to meet the requirements, i.e. pass,” Mustofa said on Monday (26/12/2022).
Mustofa said the KPUD would visit the cadres to factually confirm whether they really belonged to the party. Sample will check the address at the legal status at the party.
“According to the Bawaslu decision, at least 10 regencies/cities in North Sulawesi must pass Verfak, and in NTT at least 5 regencies must pass Verfak. Thank God, we have been following all the steps since Dec 20th and completed them according to KPU and Bawaslu indications” , he said.
He said the factual verification had been ongoing for 3 days since (12/26). Mostofa hopes that his party will have a serial number on December 30th.
“And later on December 30, the KPU will announce the results. Hopefully the Ummat Party will pass, please pray that on December 30, we already have the serial number to participate in the 2024 election,” Mustofa said.
“Usually, later the problems that arise, are when Verfak (fact check). Many names on the KTP are sometimes not the same as the everyday nicknames in their environment. So, sometimes the KPUD visits the names that are included in the sample , but when visited, local residents according to the KTP address do not know,” he added.
