Users can edit the message at any time before sending it, set a new time or delete it again. It should be noted that the message is only stored on the sender’s smartphone until it is finally sent. This means that the message will only be sent on the specified date if the mobile phone is switched on and has reception.
So far, the feature is only available for the Android version. Apple users will have to be patient. Many WhatsApp users have been wanting such a feature for a long time. It remains to be seen whether the market leader will react to the competition.
