The coordination meeting for the preservation of family and values ​​​​in the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council in Lebanon mentioned “the attack on children and minors in a way of harassment and committing moral crimes by a group of homosexuals involved, because this is dirty. the group exploited minority youth directly or indirectly through social media. condemn and reject this shameful act, and we raise our voice strongly regarding the necessity of protecting our families and our society.”

The meeting confirmed that “the judges take their role efficiently and quickly and impose the worst punishments on those who harm our children, our families, and our native country, Lebanon,” asking the state Lebanon and the official institutions it represents, especially the Ministry of the Interior through the Cybercrimes Office in the Internal Security Forces, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and the Ministry of Information to “Yes preventive measures protect our children Instead, we emphasize the need to eliminate Tik Tok in Lebanon and any other methods used to harm our children, similar what has been done in many countries of the world.

We rely heavily on the role of civil society, family and scouting in achieving these goals.”

The meeting emphasized “activating the role of awareness-raising in schools and universities and updating the curricula, especially the subject of national education, in a way that is consistent with our moral and religious values ​​and our views for Muslims and Christians,” “holding seminars and conferences and inviting parents’ committees in schools and high schools to participate in reality and warn of the dangers of decline moral,” and “not submitting to eliminate threats and fears from some of those involved and bring the file to a fair and impartial conclusion, “support and psychological support and socialize the victims and their families, and be careful of psychological harm to them,” and “no educational neglect within families and the need to exercise parental authority to ensure the upbringing of children, monitor on all children’s activities. and protect them. ” Do not harm social media.
