PlayStation is thinking of an Xbox Game Pass competition. The contention between Sony and Microsoft continues and now the response from PlayStation to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service is awaited. In the statements made by the president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, it was not detailed what action PlayStation would take in the face of the success of Xbox Game Pass.
Another person who testified about it was David Jaffe, one of the creators of ‘God of War’. He developed a podcast where he defended Jim Ryan’s management with numbers that support his management. At the end of the broadcast he said that PlayStation is developing a response to Xbox Game Pass and that it is a matter of time to see it.

- The soon to be released PlayStation 5 comes with PS4 game compatibility. With PS Now you will be able to play the PS4 games and some games that will be released on a rotating basis for the PS5.
- The virtual stores of PS3, PSP and PS Vita of PlayStation will close soon. The PS3 and PSP stores will close their doors on July 2 of this year, while the PS Vita Store will close on August 27. The games that were purchased in these stores will remain available even though they are closed.
