PlayStation fans have seen at least two GOTY candidates this year, but so far they have been waiting in vain for “their” show during E3 or Gamescom. Sony seems to know this, because today’s announcement begins with the following words:
“You were very patient and thank you for that. We look forward to showing you what we’ve been working on.
Join us next Thursday, September 9 from 22:00 to see the future of the PS5. The show will be about 40 minutes long and will feature news about PlayStation Studios and some of the industry’s most imaginative developers, for games scheduled for this Christmas holiday season – but also beyond. After the presentation, stay for more samples from some of the studios that will be part of the show. “
One note: the new generation PlayStation VR will not show up this time. But you will still get many PS5 games from small and large developers. We look forward to you!
