PlayStation Portal has proven to be quite popular in Japan. Here we reported that it didn’t seem like a super exciting device since it only allowed you to stream PS5 games over Wi-Fi, but even with the criticism, pre-orders were sold out in Japan.
As reported by X/Twitter user Genki_JPN, you won’t be able to find any PlayStation Portals on Amazon.com, Yodobashi, Rakuten Books, Bic Camera, and all other online retailers in Japan. So even if the device doesn’t perform well elsewhere, it seems likely that Sony will strike gold in Japan.
PlayStation Portal will launch on November 15th in the US, UK, France, Germany, Benelux, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria. Do you think it will be successful?
