PlayStation Portal was released in August and allows you to stream games already installed on your PlayStation 5. Since the PS Vita was discontinued, many people have missed out on a portable PlayStation device, which is the closest thing to one right now.
But despite being a portable device for video games, Sony doesn’t see it as a competitor to the Switch.Accepting BBCDuring the interview, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Eric Lempel explained his perspective:
“It’s a different proposition and it’s really unique to the PlayStation audience.”
What do you think, is Lempel right, or can and should be compared to the Switch?
