Announced back in August, the PlayStation Portal allows you to stream games already installed on your PlayStation 5. As many have been missing a portable PlayStation ever since the PS Vita was discontinued, this is the closest you’ll get right now.
But despite the fact that this is a portable device intended for video games, Sony does not consider this to be a competitor to the Switch. In a conversation with BBC Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Eric Lempel explains his view on the matter:
“It’s a different offering and really just something unique to the PlayStation crowd.”
What do you think, is Lempel right or is this something that can and should be compared to the Switch?
