WOJTEK: Sony and Microsoft present a different approach to their monthly offers, but I can find some advantages in both proposals. With Games with Gold, I will definitely turn on Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, because in my time I played the production on PS4 and I will be happy to check how it works on the Xbox X Series. Unfortunately, I am not interested in the rest of the games, but I have a similar situation with PlayStation Plus. Here I will only turn on Oddworld: Soulstorm, but what is worth noting – Sony has a rather unusual approach to its offer. We have been getting premieres for some time, which is definitely worth appreciating, but it is a pity that once again only PS5 players can see the title – in the addition, Days Gone duplicates the PlayStation Plus Collection offer. Nevertheless, I must praise Sony because I waited far too long for Abe’s return. It is a pity that the game did not reach us before Christmas, because I would probably swallow a new story in one weekend.
This time I choose … PlayStation Plus.
CAYETHANE: I can’t say that I like it when comparing offers doesn’t seem to make sense. These months are of course interesting for some, but recently it has been difficult for me to choose someone other than Sony in any way. And it’s not about brand loyalty. You can see with the naked eye that PlayStation puts much more emphasis on its service – Xbox is moving more and more towards Game Pass.
The Japanese company changed its approach to PS Plus some time ago and for us players, it has a really positive effect. We get some premiere titles almost month after month, and the Oddworld: Soulstorm offered now should tempt everyone. Added to this was the excellent Days Gone, which, although I have a beat, must be considered a very strong position with full conviction. The icing on the cake is however Zombie Army 4 from last year, which was really well received.
On the other hand, there is Games with Gold, where Vikings: Wolves of Midgard from almost four years ago seems to be the biggest hit. I do not hide that I am not interested in any of the titles proposed by Microsoft. Is it a problem? No. After all, there is Game Pass, in which you cannot complain about the lack of “free” games. Nevertheless, when it comes to the duel of the mentioned services, I have no doubts.
That’s why I choose… PlayStation Plus.
As a standard, at the end, I invite you to choose the most interesting offer!
