PlayStation Plus Collection games can also be played on the PS4 via workaround

With the launch of the PlayStation 5, a new part is also launching within PlayStation Plus. This concerns the ‘PlayStation Plus Collection’, with which you can play various toppers from the PlayStation 4 free of charge via backwards compatibility on the PS5.

It turns out however, it should also be possible to play the games below on the PS4. If you add the games to your digital collection via the PS5, you can then download and play them on the PS4 via your own account. This is useful, for example, if you give your PS4 to your younger brother or sister while you play on the PS5.

For this you would have to set up your account properly, but it is an option via a workaround. Unfortunately, this is the only way to achieve it, as it is not possible to add the games in question to your digital collection via the PS4. At least, not for free.
