Sony has announced the new free games for subscribers to PlayStation Plus January 2021, which will kick off next year in the right way.
2021 will be a very important year for the premium service available on PS4 e PS5, as pointed out by the Japanese house in the past few weeks.
Also for this reason there was no holiday that held: the free titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers were unveiled today, the last Wednesday of the month, punctually at 17:30, as is the tradition for the subscription.
These are the titles announced for January 2021:
- Maneater (PS5)
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- Greedfall

Choices for January 2021 include the PlayStation 5 version of Maneater, which will include enhancements designed specifically to take advantage of Sony’s next-gen console hardware over the original PS4 edition; Shadow of the Tomb Raider, last chapter of the trilogy of the young Lara Croft; Greedfall, pirate action RPG from the creators of The Technomancer.
The new games will be redeemable starting from Tuesday 5th January to Monday 1st February.
2020 is closing in the best way with three guaranteed games in December, including the new release Worms Rumble for PS4 and PS5.
The year had been pretty satisfying overall, with some big players from the PlayStation 4 catalog getting involved in the PS Plus monthly offers.
PlayStation Plus has already announced a new entry in the PS5 first-party library which will be available as part of the subscription starting on launch day next November, as a reward for moving from the original date of 12 November.
