SAN FRANCISCO, iNews.id – A number of PlayStation Network accounts were blocked after the account owner borrowed PlayStation 5 (PS5) to access the PlayStation Plus Collection. The wording of the account ban has surfaced via several online forums.
One of the main benefits of PlayStation Plus is access to a number of games PlayStation 4 which players can access for free as long as they are subscribed. Something that is annoying about those features is that even though they are all PlayStation 4 games, they can only be claimed for gamers via the PlayStation 5.
After claiming the PlayStation 5, they were then playable on the PlayStation 4. That’s not a popular policy among PlayStation Plus customers and some have paid to borrow PlayStation 5 consoles to try and claim free games.
In order to make money and give players access to free games, some PlayStation 5 owners have sold access to their consoles. The goal is to claim a free collection of PlayStation number four games.
This is something that is partly due to the inability of most people to get to the PlayStation 5 console.Sony is unhappy with players doing this as a solution and consequently blocking accounts.
