A Video Games Chronicle According to a weekend report from the portal, the Japanese techie has patented a PlayStation controller that is completely different from standard controllers in both appearance and features.
The controller was described as “Consists of a left-hand and a right-hand grip that the user can grasp with his left and right hands”and added “It also has an axle part that can be tilted by the user and detects the direction of inclination of the controller and the amount of inclination”.
The drawings annexed to the patent, which are click on this link to view, compatible with one PS4 They depict a DualShock 4-like controllerwith a screen in the middle.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has also been contacted about the case, but the Japanese have not yet responded to the messages, so it is questionable what their real purpose with the patent might be.
