The PlayStation 4 as a platform was a lot easier to develop in comparison to the PlayStation 3. It was a big step forward and Sony was praised for that. They are now continuing that line with the PlayStation 5 and it looks like development has become even easier.
That’s at least what Shuhei Yoshida from Sony PlayStation regularly hears from developers, he said in the latest edition of Dengeki PlayStation. According to developers, the PlayStation 5 would be the easiest console they ever made games for.
Even developers who have never before developed for a PlayStation console indicate that it is very easy, and with that Sony has made absolutely big steps forward compared to the PlayStation 3.
