Since the launch of PlayStation 5, several online stores have tried to sell custom side panels for the console. Sony has, however hit hard on third-party vendors, and now we know why.
On Monday, Sony was able to unveil its own, official PlayStation 5 side discs in several different colors.

Via the official PlayStation blog, the company unveiled five different PlayStation 5 colors. Two of these match previously, Dualsense launched the colors Midnight Black and Cosmic Red.
The other three are Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple. These three also get matching controllers. You can see what the side panels look like in the video at the top of the article, while the new controller colors are in the video to the right of the article.
All this is all well and good, but for Norwegian customers there may still be a while to wait. The new colors will be rolled out from January 2022, but Norway is currently not on the list. Sony says that the plan is to release both side plates and new controllers in other regions within the next year, but some date is not yet clear.
