PlayStation 5 Dual Sense controllers begin to fail massively with adaptive triggers

Some PlayStation 5 buyers have complained about issues with adaptive triggers on Dual Sense gamepads. Players reported crashing and poor responsiveness of the R2 and L2 buttons. About it writes GameRant.

One of the players said that while playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales, he heard the click of the R2 trigger, after which a key backlash appeared and it stopped working. Other users report that responsive triggers have become much less responsive over time than they were at launch.

According to the publication, more than a thousand console owners have complained about this problem in social networks. In addition, instructions for self-repairing the breakdown appeared on the Web, which indicates its widespread occurrence.

This isn’t the first PS5 gamepad issue. In mid-December, users noticed drift of analog sticks due to which there is a spontaneous movement of the player’s camera. The same problem has been observed with previous Sony gamepads. The company tried to fix the problem with a software update, but apparently failed. Probably the reason is the hardware stuffing of the gamepad.
