The PlayStation 4 Pro introduced the ‘Boost Mode’ and the PS5 makes use of this too. The mode is apparently a lot better on the next-gen console from Sony than on the PS4 Pro, because it can ensure that the frame rate is doubled, which of course improves the playing comfort considerably. This is certainly the case with Ghost of Tsushima.
Outside one klein number of games, all PS4 titles can be played on the PlayStation 5 thanks to backwards compatibility. The Boost mode can improve the resolution and / or frame rate in some games. Ghost of Tsushima will have a frame rate of up to 60 fps on Sony’s next-gen console, which was 30 fps on the PS4. This is not the only improvement. Loading times were already short, but if you play the game on the PlayStation 5, they will be even shorter.
