In the video, Tim can be seen making a comment into the camera about Zimra’s “bigger tits than the rest of the Netherlands”. During the interview that follows, he tips the model to “show a tit”. In her speech on Instagram, Zimra indicates that several things struck her from the video from ten years ago: “I mainly see two young people who think that if they make rude, stupid comments they will be seen by others as ‘cool’ and ‘ great,” she writes. ‘I see two young people copying behavior they grew up with. Back then there were (and still are) so many really clunky programs where people did the stupidest things like, ‘Yeah, that’s cool. Then you’re cool,” she adds. ‘When I look at myself, I also see a girl who grew up in a time when it had become sort of a trend for women on TV to pretend to be many times dumber than they were. I graduated from Gymnasium myself, but I went along with it,’ says Zimra.
