Algerian star Youssef Belaili is about to join a new team in the French football league after Brest.

Brest announced a few weeks ago the termination of his contract with the Algerian star.

French newspaper L’Equipe said Blaili appears close to joining Ajaccio and that negotiations appear to have advanced between the two sides.

For its part, the French site of Radio Monte Carlo has confirmed the entry of the Algerian player in this team.

“Anything can happen, but the negotiations go in the right direction,” said an Ajaccio administrator.

French club Montpellier is also interested in signing Blaili, according to reports in the French press.
