Barcelona wants to leave behind a bad season and for the next one, Xavi Hernández has already secured a great incorporation.
The blaugrana, who was left out of all competition and is going through a problematic institutional moment, will specify the arrival of Andreas Christensen, who will leave Chelsea and will become the first signing for the 2022/23 season.
“Destination Barça? I hope to be able to say it soon, but it’s not possible yet. I’ve known where I’m going to play for quite some time. Not everything depends on me, there are things to fit in, but it’s quite clear”, the footballer told the Danish newspaper ‘Bt’.
Crhistensen also stated that “Playing for Barça is a dream”, despite the fact that in recent years they have not won important titles. “With problems or not, Barça is one of the biggest teams a player can join. I’ve always had it clear”.
The 26-year-old central defender became a key player in Thomas Tuchel’s team and has won a great record wearing the Chelsea shirt since the 2017/18 season: FA Cup, Europa League, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
