Players using GeForce NOW to play Call of Duty have been banned

NVIDIA GeForce NOW has impacted Call of Duty players. Reports suggest that users may face bans while using this game streaming service. According to the information, the glitch results in players being flagged and subsequently banned when the GeForce NOW service is identified as a form of cheating.

Yesterday the company announced that it will be adding 65 new games to the GeForce NOW library this December. The game streaming service allows users to play games that they already own. Users who have in their collection Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Modern Warfare II или Warzone, theoretically, they can start playing without installing these games through the NVIDIA service. However, it is strongly recommended not to do this for now due to a possible ban.

Don’t play Call of Duty on NVIDIA GeForce NOW just yet. There appears to be some glitch that has resulted in players being banned from the game after the game was detected via the cloud as a cheating device.

Due to a licensing dispute between NVIDIA and Activision in 2020, GeForce NOW lost access to all Activision-Blizzard games. However, the service is gradually rebuilding its game lineup, adding new additions weekly.

A few months ago, NVIDIA announced that Microsoft PC Game Pass games would be available through GeForce NOW. Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision has not yet resulted in their games being integrated into Game Pass this year. However, enabling GeForce NOW may be the first step.

It is worth noting that the anti-cheat services in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are introducing bans for gamers using portable systems, especially ASUS ROG Ally. These bans were caused by an overlay application that was identified as a form of fraud. A glitch like this could result in bans for GeForce NOW players.

Gamers who were banned should now have their accounts fully operational after Call of Duty identified an issue.
