Players stop a match in the National Futsal League to break up the fight between fans; video | futsal

Players from Sorocaba and Joinville stopped the second half of the match valid for the quarter finals of the National Futsal League (LNF), played in the interior of São Paulo, to break up the fight between fans in the stands (see the video above).

The hot climate among the players inside the court extended beyond it, with a generalized fight between Sorocaba and Joinville fans. Without the arrival of security guards or the police, it was up to the athletes to paralyze the game and ask for calm for those who were fighting behind one of the Arena Sorocaba goals.

The players’ action worked and the fight was contained. Before the off-court confusion, Machado and Leandro Lino, from Joinville and Sorocaba, were expelled after exchanging aggressions.
