The Operator system proposed by the developers of Battlefield 2042 did not appeal to some players. They are dissatisfied with the very idea, as well as the appearance of the fighters.

In Battlefield 2042, the developers decided to move away from the usual class system for the series in multiplayer. In their place came operatives who have “chips” and a gadget. In addition, now you can take any weapon or equipment – it is not tied to a class.
For example, the stormtrooper Webster Mackay uses a grappling hook and, due to Agility, moves faster while aiming.
However, this is where the problem lies. Now there is no clear division and on the battlefield you can meet a medic who repairs damaged equipment or a sniper who dug in somewhere with a first-aid kit.
With the appearance, too, everything is not so simple. In Battlefield 2042, up to 128 players can fight in battle, and there are far fewer operatives to choose from.
It turns out to be a funny situation: McKay stabs McKay in the back, while McKay looks the other way.

Also, in the heat of battle, the player can easily confuse an ally with an enemy and open fire on him.
Enthusiast in half an hour solved a problem. He suggested visual changes for operatives so that they differ depending on which side of the conflict they are on.
To be fair, it should be noted that in Battlefield 2042, opponents are marked on the radar with a red dot and the player’s name is written in the same color. However, in the heat of battle, the appearance of fighters can still be misleading under certain circumstances. Players hopethat after release, developers will get enough feedback to bring back the old class system.
Some are beginning to realize their mistake. For example, on the Reddit forum user writes“I remember telling someone a month ago not to worry about the team looking the same from both teams in the open beta and that DICE won’t let that happen, now I can put on a clown mask.”
There is no information yet about the plans of the developers to rework the appearance of the operatives. At the moment, beta testing is underway.
The release of Battlefield 2042 is scheduled for November 19. The game will be available on PC (Steam) and PS4 | 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S consoles.
