Islamabad: The Pakistan team has reached India for the ODI World Cup. After losing to New Zealand in the first warm-up match, Pakistan will face Australia in the second warm-up. Pakistan’s World Cup campaign begins with a match against the Netherlands on October 6. The much awaited match against India will be held in Ahmedabad on 14th. Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Moin Khan has revealed that Pakistan players are afraid when playing against India.
“I saw it 100%. Pakistani players are scared. They hesitated even to give instructions to Babur, be it Rizwan, Shadab or Shaheen. There was no discussion and if there were suggestions they were not followed. Babar gives instructions but they don’t act.” – Moin told Cricket Pakistan while analyzing the performance of Babar and his team in the Asia Cup.
“Another thing is that the players are scared when they play against India. There is so much fear that you can’t even give instructions. As a cricketer, you have to believe in your ability. You must contribute 100%. It’s okay if the instructions go wrong, it happens. But your body language shows if you want to win, it wasn’t visible. I’m sure there were some problems in the dressing room. I know, there are differences of opinion in a professional space. But don’t let that stop you from performing well. You have to move on.” – added Moin.
