The fundraising campaign for Stormgate launched on December 5, and before you know it, the developers have already reached their goal of $100 thousand. The team reached the top in less than 15 minutes.

57 days before the end of the campaign, Stormgate has already exceeded the fundraising plan several times over – by the time of publication, the counter had exceeded $850 thousand. Thanks to the generosity of players, the developers are implementing:

Arctic style tilesets; different interface looks; additional mutators (modifiers) for cooperative mode for three; tool to help players – should increase the accessibility of Stormgate.

Stormgate is positioned as the next evolution of the real-time strategy genre, combining the best elements of fantasy and science fiction in a new post-apocalyptic setting.

In the story, in the near future, an alien race of demons has almost destroyed humanity. In addition to these infernals and human defenders, there will also be a mysterious third faction in Stormgate.

They promise an exciting campaign with support for up to three players, co-op for three, competitive multiplayer (“1 on 1”, “3 on 3”), a powerful editor, an accessible interface and graphics on a modified Unreal Engine 5.

Stormgate will be distributed using a shareware model. Early access starts throughout 2024 on Steam. Investors, among other things, will be allowed into the game before early access.
