Players Discover Ingenious ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Strategy to Defeat Palworld’s Toughest Bosses

Palworld Players Defeat Game’s Toughest Bosses with ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Tactic

Palworld players have found a game-breaking strategy to take down the most challenging bosses, and it involves an ingenious construction within the game itself. By building a massive in-game ‘stairway to heaven,’ these resourceful players conquer boss battles with ease.

According to a report from GamesRadar, a video shared on Twitter/X showcases a player’s achievement of leading a level 50 Jetragon to the top of the stairway. From there, the player jumps off, glides to the bottom, and watches as the lower portion of the stairway collapses, causing the boss to plummet to its doom. Gravity takes its toll on even the most imposing figures!

Although this strategy appears to be simple and effective, its lifespan may be limited. Developers Pocketpair, creators of Palworld, have yet to indicate if they will take action to address this clever tactic. However, with the huge attention the Twitter video has garnered, approaching two million views, one can expect Pocketpair to include a countermeasure in an upcoming patch.

Palworld Patches: Update v0.1.4.1 and Xbox Disparity

In relation to Palworld’s patches, the most recent update, v0.1.4.1, is now available on Steam. This update brings more critical improvements to the game. Additionally, the Xbox patch, v0.1.1.4, has also been released. However, the Xbox version of Palworld has limitations, such as the absence of dedicated servers, which restricts the number of players who can enjoy the game together. Microsoft has pledged to work closely with Pocketpair to overcome this hurdle, supplying the necessary resources to ensure the continued success of the game, including support for dedicated servers.

Palworld: Phenomenal Success amid Controversy

Palworld has experienced remarkable success since its release on January 19, amassing a staggering 19 million players across all platforms. It has achieved the status of the most-played game on Steam, with a remarkable 12 million copies sold on that platform alone. Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription-based gaming service, has also witnessed the biggest third-party launch in its history, with over seven million players and a daily peak of almost three million.

Yet, Palworld has also generated significant controversy within the gaming community. Developer Pocketpair has received death threats in response to accusations of plagiarizing Pokémon. The controversy didn’t stop there: Nintendo promptly took action to remove an eye-catching Pokémon mod, and The Pokemon Company issued a statement vowing to protect its intellectual property rights. The legal ramifications between Palworld and Pokémon’s imagery have also captivated the legal community, with speculation on whether Nintendo could potentially sue.
