sport">The football players of the Turkish club walked off the field in Paris, because a racist remark was allegedly made towards one of their assistant coaches on the side. Basaksehir did not want to continue playing.
sport">After more than twelve minutes of play, an altercation arose along the line in the Parc des Princes, with the fourth official as the centerpiece. He was besieged by Pierre Webo, the former soccer player from Cameroon who is now an assistant coach at Basaksehir, and substitute Demba Ba. “Why do you say black boy?” Asked the Senegalese striker to the fourth man. It would be Sebastian Costantin who was also busy with his farewell match. Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan drew a red card in the uproar that arose, presumably for Webo.

sport">The Basaksehir players did not take that and walked towards the dressing room after explaining to the footballers of Paris Saint-Germain what they believed had happened. PSG left the field out of solidarity. On Twitter, the Turkish club immediately posted the slogan ‘No To Racism’ that the European football federation UEFA has been using for years, followed by the hashtag #respect.
