Colombia fell against Peru this Sunday and left many doubts facing the last match corresponding to the group stage of the America’s Cup 2021 against Brazil.
This is how we rate Colombian players:
David Ospina 5: the Antioquia goalkeeper failed to stand out in a good way and despite the fact that none of the goals received was by mistake, the Napoli goalkeeper could not save the national team as usual.

Stefan Medina 5: He returned to the starter after two games in the substitution and was safe in the defensive zone, however, he did not manage to create partnerships with Cuadrado in the attack part and he was quite shy for the tricolor to leave on the right wing.
Yerry Mina 4: the pair of Colombian plants is at a very low level. The Everton footballer is not sure in his closings and does not lead the defensive back as he should be. In addition, he was unlucky enough to score at his own goal.
Dávinson Sánchez 4: The Tottenham England player is not at his level and despite his great physical strength and speed, the center-back continues to show no improvement game after game.
William Tesillo 3: one of the players with the worst level in the national team currently. Tesillo was widely criticized throughout the match due to his frequent poor deliveries, lack of ability to attack and insecurity on defense.

Sebastian Perez 3: Reinaldo Rueda surprised with the ownership of the former Nacional and on the court it was evident how low his level is. Pérez never deciphered his place on the field of play, he left Wilmar Barrios without support on several occasions and in the offensive zone his collaboration was null.
Wilmar Barrios 4: Beyond his wear, sacrifice and effort in the middle of the field, the Cartagena midfielder did not contribute in the offensive part and had to dedicate himself in most of the game to relieve functions of his close ones.
Juan Guillermo Cuadrado 5: Despite his desire and sacrifice on the right wing, the whole game fell on him and he was effectively controlled by the Peruvian defense, which did not suffer major problems with the individualities of Juventus.
Edwin Cardona 4: The Boca Juniors midfielder was unable to take over the middle of the field as he did in the first half against Venezuela and Peru’s intense midfield managed to wear him down quickly, thus removing him from the game.

Duván Zapata 3: the ‘Toro’ nothing that finds its place in the Colombian National Team. During this game he was sacrificed and on several occasions he was seen on the left wing, a place that is not his on the court. Nothing that appears the goal for Atalanta.
Miguel Angel Borja 6: the Junior de Barranquilla striker was the only one who tried play after play to generate danger in Peru’s goal and with his momentum in the center of attack he managed to generate the maximum penalty and scored the only goal for the national team.
