This is Mame Gueye (23), a Senegalese striker who has a dozen selections in the national team of local players (Editor’s note: playing in Senegal) and one in the selection against Guinea, in 2019. Mame Gueye, who played in the Moroccan club Tetouan since 2020, would be on trial these days. He could become the second recruit in the winter transfer window of C’Chartres Football which seems to want to be active on the market …

Death of Manfa Camara
Manfa “Titi” Camara, former player of the Amicale de Lucé (1998-1999), died at the end of last week at the age of 44 years. Originally from Hauts-de-Seine, he had only played six months in the green club but he had not gone unnoticed. Disembarking from Touquet (Pas-de-Calais), this striker, recruited in the winter transfer window by the Amicale chaired by Pierre Cellot and who was fighting for the rise in CFA (National 2), had scored 8 goals. Lucé had finished 3rd in a place of the access roadblocks. Camara then went to Romorantin (CFA) before being spotted, at 23, by FC Lorient and playing 4 matches in Ligue 2 during the 2000-2001 season. His future in football was shattered in January 2001 following a car accident that left him paraplegic. He had nevertheless retained an attachment with the middle of the round ball by integrating in 2007 the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP).
Disturbed friends
The friendly matches scheduled for this weekend were very disrupted. The R1 and R3 reserves of C’Chartres, affected by the covid, were unable to face either the reserves of FC Drouais (R2) or Champhol (D1). Nogent-le-Roi (R2), also affected, had to give up the match against Epernon (R3). On the pitch, Saint-Georges-sur-Eure (R1) beat Dammarie (R3) 2-1. Maintenon (R3) and FC Drouais (R1) drew (3-3). Lucé (R3), who first had to cancel his friendly against Morsang (D2), finally beat Lèves (D2), 7-0.
