This Monday, a video quickly went viral showing a San Martín player, Emanuel Yori, making fun of a boy with developmental delay. The episode occurred near the 12 de Octubre stadium of Unión de Villa Krause, where “Santi”, a fan of the institution who has developmental delay, can be seen walking and imitating the figure of the Verdinegro. After this video went viral, the player publicly apologized through his social networks.
Through his social network Instagram, the defender made himself available to the family and expressed his regret for what he had done. “I want to apologize to Santi and his family for what happened. I am truly sorry,” the player announced.
“I understand that whatever I can say will not fix my actions, but I want you to know that I am sorry and I would like to be able to fix my mistake,” Yori said.
