Have you ever looked up in Night City in Cyberpunk 2077? Then you may have noticed that there are rails. Now it appears that Night City has a real monorail system, including a station. However, this system is not used in-game.
On Reddit the clip below was posted, showing the monorail system and the station. It is clear that the station was never completely finished, but at the same time CD Projekt RED has put some real work into it. This way, V can open the doors of the station itself. This seems to suggest that the developer once had the idea of implementing a fully functioning monorail system in Cyberpunk 2077.
The big question now is of course why this is not the case in the game. It may be that the idea was dropped during development and that the rails and station were left in this way. Or could the monorail system perhaps be introduced with a future expansion? Time will tell.
