This weekend only.

- You can play Star Wars Squadrons for free on the Xbox at the weekend
- The same goes for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Yooka-Laylee
- If you like the games, you can get them cheaper in the store
This weekend you can play Star Wars Squadrons and other games for free.
Not just like that, of course, but under certain conditions. For example, you first need an Xbox console as a gaming device as a basic requirement.
As part of the Free Play Days, you can play a total of three titles for free from now until next Monday, January 18, 2021, at 8:59 a.m.
Another requirement is that you need either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
If all of this applies, go to the respective product pages in the Microsoft Store and should have the option there to install the respective game on your console.
So you can experience space battles on the side of the Empire and the New Republic in Star Wars Squadrons, either in the campaign or in multiplayer mode.
In addition to Squadrons, two other titles can be played for free on the weekend. One is Dragon Ball FighterZ. Here you fight with all kinds of characters in three-on-three battles in destructible stages and replay some well-known moments from the Dragon Ball series, among other things.
Game number three in the league is Yooka-Laylee, the Banjo-Kazooie-like platformer from Playtonic. Here you jump and run around and try to dissuade the corporate villain Capital B from his sinister plans.
And at least you can get Star Wars Squadrons and Yooka-Laylee even cheaper if you like them when playing over the weekend. Squadrons are currently available for 23.99 euros in the Microsoft Store, Yooka-Laylee for 9.99 euros.
Speaking of Star Wars, Ubisoft announced a new open world Star Wars game this week.
