PlatinumGames dreams of Star Fox Zero on Switch • Gamingnation

If it’s up to PlatinumGames, come Star Fox Zero to the Nintendo Switch. Studio head Atsushi Inaba announced this in a conversation with Video Games Chronicle.

According to Inaba, it is not ‘cool’ that you cannot play older games, because they are tied to one platform. As far as he’s concerned, those older games should be brought to newer platforms. Inaba adds that concerns Star Fox Zero this depends on the possibilities, but that he would certainly want to think about it. Unfortunately, Inaba does not have the last word. According to him, that honor goes to Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the series.

Of Star Fox Zero actually coming to the Nintendo Switch remains to be seen. The game originally appeared in 2016 for Wii U and was received moderately.
