One of the most authoritative figures on television, at least according to the approval rating of the home audience, victim of a disease that is keeping her away from Italian television. We are talking about Maurizio Umberto Egidio Coruzzi, known as Mauro, and known by the pseudonym of Platinette. A well-known character on the Italian television scene, who over the years has found success but also the consent of the public.

An important figure in the role of columnist, but still a journalist, television author and radio host, with a career started by 70’s and developed throughout the Italian television context. There are many television programs to which Platinette has lent her authoritative voice as a commentator, and so over time her popularity has increased exponentially.

In recent years, Mauro had decided to take off the iconic clothes that had identified him all this time, showing himself in his “natural” guise, just like Mauro. Yet it hasn’t shown up on the small screen for a while. In fact, what happened to Platinette?

The whole, in fact, is linked to a very particular pathology which Mauro has been suffering from for some time, and which led him to take a drastic decision: to leave to be cured.

Yes, but what exactly does Maurizio Coruzzi suffer from? It is bulimia. Serious and dangerous pathology, we are talking about an eating disorder that goes to counteract anorexia, and every year there are many people who encounter this particular problem.
