Mauro Coruzzi (aka Platinette) stable. There is a mixture of optimism and concern.Tuesday March 14th had an ischemic stroke. Fortunately, he was rescued in a timely manner and this allowed him to be able to act immediately from a therapeutic point of view. The conditions are stable and a series of investigations are underway, his agent announced. Friends confirm that the interventions were rapid and this would bode well.
Mauro was fine, just the day before the illness he had posted a video on Instagram talking about music, the return of vinyl, the new record player in his house. As always, listening to his beloved Mina. And right under that video there are many messages from Coruzzi’s friends and colleagues who wanted to show him affection and closeness.
Coruzzi a variegated, histrionic artist: entertainer, conductor, speaker, DJ, columnist, author, writer which over the years has made its contribution to the world of music and TV. He has long been part of the fixed cast of the Saturday afternoon program on Rai1, Italy s conducted by Marco Liorni who wrote: “Our” Mauro felt ill the other night, luckily he was rescued immediately. From the hospital they tell us that it was an ischemic stroke. Also from here I send him a very strong hug together with the whole “Italia S!” working group, with us since 2018 and a column from the programme. Come on Mauro!.
Even Milly Carlucci, who spoke yesterday on Italian Stories on Rai1, sent a message of support to Mauro: I know him well because we worked together on “Dancing with the Stars”, but also on the “Masked Singer” (which starts again tonight). He was a big Tiger. I had chosen him because he said “I really am not apparently, but maybe I am inside,” said Milly. She who she then added: Mauro is a character of great culture, of great depth, a profound man. With truly extraordinary fighting strength. Good luck, come on, come on, we’re all with you!. A man who fought many battles on various fronts: from health (the famous diets he underwent, including an operation to shrink the stomach), to gay rights. He was cast as a Platinette by the Maurizio Costanzo Show and has participated in several programs as a guest or talent judge. He has also published some books and recorded records. On two occasions he also took part in the Sanremo Festival.
